Regulation fees in health care
This chapter covers the subject of regulation fees in health care. The subchapter ‘Main types of regulation fees’ indicates for each type of regulation fee its amount, payment method, and cases where no fee has to be paid, and vice versa.
All participants in public health insurance (or their legal representatives) are obliged to pay regulation fees, as well as insured persons from other EU Member States and countries with which the Czech Republic has concluded a bilateral social security agreement or an agreement on the cooperation in the health sector, where the health care payment is drawn from the state budget.
Some changes of regulation fees took effect on 1 April 2009 as indicated in the text below.
